I bought a foxglove for the first time. Can they be potted or should they always be planted? Are you to put a stake by them to keep the shoot from falling off? |
Foxgloves do best when planted in the ground. The stalks can grow quite tall and will need an extensive root system to help nourish the plant so plant yours in the ground or in a very large container. The stalk should not need staking but if yours is flopping over, by all means stake it upright. Enjoy your new plant! |
