Although the plant tags say full sun, I find that hydrangeas do best in morning sun but shade from hot afternoon sunshine. While they will tolerate full sun, they tend to wilt in the afternoons and then recover overnight. I think they look best with morning sun and afternoon shade. Move the container to a more protected spot and I think you will see a huge improvement. Enjoy your garden!
