My Aunt told me to put coffee grounds in my garden but could not remember why. So what use is coffee grounds in garden?

Coffee grounds are a source of nitrogen. I think the best use of coffee grounds is to put them in your compost pile and let them decompose. They'll break down into the smallest elements, and then plant roots can absorb it. Or, you can bury coffee grounds around the garden if you don't have a compost pile.
