I have a porcupine raiding my foxglove at night on a regular basis. What can I do to persuade it to go away or bait it into a live trap for removal to the far far north.

There isn't much you can do to discourage them, aside from building a chicken wire fence that angles outward, and is topped with an electrified strand of wire. If you choose to trap the creature, you can use a salt lick or a cloth saturated in salt water as bait. They keep a wide range, so a 25 mile trip is necessary. I hope this helps!
