|I would like to place a slate path on a shaded slope in my backyard and plant either a moss or low growing ornamental grass in between the stones. It is a fairly large area. Is there a mondo grass that is shorter or some other plant that would work well in that area? It is also a dryer area. I have bermuda grass in other areas of the backyard, have tried
zyosia grass under the trees.
|Corsican mint or pearlwort might be just the right plant for between your pavers. It is ground hugging, produces seasonal flowers, remains evergreen and tolerates shade. I think the leaf size and color would be just right between your slate pavers and it takes foot traffic without too much harm. Hope it works for you!|
