I have Christmas limas and Blue Lake Running pole beans. The bottom leaves are starting to turn yellow and drop. Is this a blight or a watering/soil issue? The top of the vines are over six feet and look very healthy.

Christmas Limas and Blue Lake beans are some of the most disease resistant varieties so I don't think you are dealing with a disease but with the natural aging of the oldest leaves. As long as the plants are putting out new growth and are flowering and producing pods, there's nothing wrong with the plants. As the oldest leaves age they will turn yellow and drop - it's normal and natural and nothing to worry about. Hope you have a great harvest.
