|Is there any expiration date on grass seed? We have some seed from 2004. We were wondering if it is still good to plant?

|Seeds can remain viable for years if they are stored properly. It's hard to say how viable your grass seeds are but you can test them. Sprinkle some on a dampened paper towel, fold it over and place it in a plastic baggie. Seal the baggie and set it in a warm place (such as a kitchen counter). Check the seeds in 7-10 days. If they are viable they will have sprouted. If not, you may need to replace them with fresh grass seed.
