Is there any expiration date on grass seed? We have some seed from 2004. We were wondering if it is still good to plant?

Seeds can remain viable for years if they are stored properly. It's hard to say how viable your grass seeds are but you can test them. Sprinkle some on a dampened paper towel, fold it over and place it in a plastic baggie. Seal the baggie and set it in a warm place (such as a kitchen counter). Check the seeds in 7-10 days. If they are viable they will have sprouted. If not, you may need to replace them with fresh grass seed.
