| You might want to inspect the plants for caterpillars. They seem to be the biggest tomato pests this time of year and they can consume lots and lots of leaves in a short period of time. They are about the same color as the leaves so they may be hard to find. When you find them, pick them off the plants. Yellowing leaves can be caused by overwatering, lack of nutrients, or simply old age. If the leaves are the lower ones, it's normal. If the yellowing leaves are higher up on the plant, it may be time to feed and to cut back on the water you give the plants. Best wishes with your tomato plants! |
