Do the leaves feel crispy or droopy? Crispy leaves can indicate sunscald; droopy can indicate over watering or over fertilization. Try placing the plant where it gets morning sun but shade from the hot afternoon sunshine. This should make a big difference in the appearance of your plant. Good luck with your new hibiscus!
