Can I grow Peter's Honey Fig in New York?

Unfortunately, figs are generally only winter hardy to zone 8, so your chances of growing it successfully are not very good. You might be able to winter some over in a very sheltered and protected microclimate, such as inside a courtyard or perhaps with the assistance of a hoop house, but it would be a serious gamble. To be honest, I don't think I would try it.
