Planted oleander last year, it's about 8 ft. tall. For about two weeks the leaves have been yellowing and dropping off. What is wrong?

There's nothing wrong with your oleander. Because it is an evergreen, it retains its leaves for a long time, but as new growth begins in the late spring and summer, it sheds its oldest leaves in favor of replacing them with healthy new ones. As long as your oleander is putting out new growth and is flowering for you, the leaf shedding is nothing to worry about. If it is beginning to look sparse, you can force new growth towards the center of the plant by pruning the stems back now. Best wishes with your landscape.
