I bought a cherry tree from Home Depot 4 years ago and every year at this time it is full of cherries but they are so tiny they can't be eaten, they are about the size of a pea, is this because I only have 1 tree and should have 2? |
Cherry trees always do better with a companion cherry tree. While some are considered self fruitful, they won't always set a good crop when grown alone. I'd plant a second variety of cherry tree and I think you'll get a much better harvest. Choose one that flowers at the same time as yours and is labeled as a "good pollinator". Best wishes with your trees! |
