We just moved to property that has 2 apricot trees and neither bloomed or had any fruit on them. What are the main reasons for non-blooming? Other fruit, pears plums and citrus all are loaded with fruit.

Because apricots bloom early in the season, they are subject to late frosts. Not only can the flowers be damaged by cold weather, but insect activity is low during cold spells, leading to lack of pollination. Other than that, just hope for the right weather conditions so you'll have a bumper crop!
