Every year my beautiful perennial hibiscus has awesome flowers on it, but the leaves look like they have been through a shredder. Help! How can I prevent this mutilation!!
Can you suggest any natural remedies if possible? Thank you

Unfortunately, Japanese Beetles love the Rose of Sharon shrub. Other pests include aphids and spider mites. Hand picking the adults or using a botanical alternative can help control those pesky Japanese Beetles. Neem products such as Azatrol or Neem-Away, or Pyola (pyrethrins in canola oil) provide about 3-4 days deterrence of Japanese beetle feeding so repeat applications will be necessary. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Best wishes with your hibiscus.
