Even though the weather is hot, you may be overwatering your wandering jew. Too much water, along with the heat and humidity can make plants wilt. Instead of watering every other day, water as usual and then in a day or two dig down into the soil to see how moist it is. You might be surprised to find that the top half inch of soil may be dry but your clay soil is still holding lots of moisture down near the roots of the plant. If the soil is still moist, you won't have to water for another few days. If it is barely damp, it's time to water. Hope your plant perks up soon!
