| You can trap them in a number of ways, deter them with crushed egg shells, let them drown in a bowl of stale beer, or simply use slug bait. I've tried all the controls you can imagine and I've found that the iron based slug bait called Sluggo works best. You broadcast it around your plants and the slugs eat it and crawl away to die. Any product that is not consumed degrades into simple iron which is good for your soil. Sluggo is harmless to people and pets. It's a winner in my opinion! |
