Knock Out Roses - Knowledgebase Question

I just planted double knock out roses. Half are doing well and blooming and the other ones are not blooming or looking good. What should I do?

The plants that are not looking too well are probably going through a period of adjustment, which is what we refer to as transplant stress. As soon as the roots re-establish themselves, your Knock Out roses will develop healthy new growth. Give them another couple of weeks and then prune them back. Pruning always encourages new growth and since these plants flower on new growth, you should see lots of flowers a little later this summer. Enjoy your Knock Out roses!
