| The fence that I've grown several clematis vines is being replaced. My plants are thriving and very successful and I would prefer not to lose them. Any ideas? |
| You may not have any choices other than to cut your clematis back to remove and replace the fence. Or, you may be able to collectively pick up the part of the plant that is on the fence and bend the stems back away from the fence, just laying them enmass on the ground. I'd try that first. If things break you can always just cut them off. With any luck you'll be able to salvage at least some of your clematis. |
