|I use a Shultz liquid fertilizer at the houseplant rate (1/2 tsp. per gal.)for foliar feeding once evry two weeks. I've heard that coffee can be used as a foliar feeder also. Is this true? If so can I mix the two together or am I better off using one or the other. Do you have a foliar feeding recipe or product at your store?

|Coffee grounds are a good source of nitrogen if sprinkled over the soil and mixed in a bit, but coffee isn't a very good foliar food so don't bother with that. I'd keep up the routine with Shultz's and simply place a thin layer of coffee ground on the soil surface for an added boost of nitrogen.
