A friend of mine has a 'Yellow Roma' tomato plant. This is NOT a 'Yellow Pear' tomato. How do I stratify the seeds so that I can plant and grow these tomatoes?

Tomato seeds do not require stratification, the process of moist, cold conditioning used to break down the chemicals in some seeds to inhibit germination.

You can simply clean the seeds, dry them and store them in an airtight container for planting when you wish. Cold storage extends the viability of tomato seeds, so if you are not going to plant them until next spring, I would suggest storing them in a sealed jar in the refrigerator.
