What can we do about this 6x10 area that is constantly soggy? We don't know why is never dry's up. Where could this water be coming from?

I can't help you determine where the water is coming from but I can suggest you dig a trench on two sides of the area and fill it with gravel so the excess water has somewhere to drain. Dig the trench about 2' deep and 8-12" wide. Place gravel into it, then add some sand, and top it off with sod or ground cover. Give the area a week or 10 days to dry out. If it still gets soggy, trench the other two sides. This should make the area drain well. Good luck with your project.
