|We just planted 2 hydrangeas - they are droooping some - how often should we water them? We soaked them everyday for 4 days now. I think that is too much?

|Yes, I think you are watering too much. Newly planted hydranges will need some time to establish their root systems. Until they do, they will wilt and look pathetic. But once the roots adjust they should perk up. Water deeply once every 3-4 days until they adjust to their new homes and then water deeply only once a week unless the weather is really hot and your soil dries out quickly. Hydrangeas perform best when give a few hours of morning sun and shade from hot afternoon sunshine. If they get afternoon summer sun the foliage will wilt but it will perk up overnight and look fine in the morning. Good luck with your new hydrangeas!
