Transplanting in the summer months is really stressful for plants and I think your roses are simply showing their displeasure. As soon as the roots become established you can prune off the dead or dying leaves and stems. It can take several weeks for the roots to adjust and during that time the top of the plants will look pathetic. But, they will recover and when you see new growth emerging you can prune off anything that suffered in the process. All you need to do to help your tree rose along is to water thoroughly every 3-4 days and be patient. They will perk up soon.
