How do you keep deer away from eating hostas?

You can try using spray repellents like Deer Away, etc. The key is to keep the repellent chemicals on the foliage at all times. Deer are creatures of habit. If they get a taste of your hosta without the repellent they will return. Fencing is your only other option. Wish I had better news!
