I live in a mostly coastal climate of western Oregon. What grape varieties, preferably seedless reds and whites, would do the best here?

The choice of grapes is somewhat limited in the Pacific Northwest, because the heat units are not always as high as most grape varieties require. Here are a few that will do well in your garden: Einset (bright red, seedless), Canadice (pink, seedless), and Vanessa (red, seedless), or Interlaken (white, seedless). There's also a muscat flavored grape called 'Sweet Suduction'. Each of these are available from Raintree Nursery, 391 Butts Rd., Morton, WA 98356. Phone for a copy of their catalog. (360) 496-6400.
