I have ear wigs eating my dahlias and nesting in them. What can I do to remove them and keep them from eating my plants? |
You can trap these critters by providing a dark, damp hiding place. Try dampened, rolled up newspaper traps in the garden to lure the bad guys. Set the rolled up newspapers in the garden at dusk. The earwigs will crawl in to hide and you can simply fold up the ends and toss the papers in the garbage each morning. Place new traps out in the late afternoon and early evening and collect them every morning. Repeat as necessary until you trap the entire population. Best wishes with your dahlias. |
