|On 2News in the morning one of the reps from Home Depot was mixing buttermilk with thyme as a way to start the ground cover between pavers. What is the recipe for the mix or the instructions for starting my ground cover this way?

|A buttermilk slurry works best with lichen or moss - I've never tried it to grow thyme, but it's worth a try. A slurry is simply one part of the plant (run it through the blender), and 2 parts buttermilk or yogurt. Paint this on the rocks or pavers. The buttermilk or yogurt contains the nutrients the plants need to grow roots.
