Each of my 3 yucca plants produced beautiful white flowers for the first time in years. Now that the flowers are gone, what do I need to do about the sturdy stems? Leave them in place, remove them , wait 'til something happens to them, or what? |
You can remove the spent flower spikes and stalks now that your plants have finished blooming. Some yucca's produce seeds. Perhaps yours is one of those varieties. If so, leave the flowers and see if they produce seeds. If so, you can try to start new little yuccas from the seeds. |
