|About ten days ago I planted the plant in the question title. Now it i wilted and drying up. I followed the planting instructions and watered daily since we had not had much rain. The instructions did not say anything abount drainage. The location I plainted it does not have good drainage. Should I move the plant?
|Achillea millefolium Tutti Frutti grows best in full sun and in locations with infertile, well-drained soils. They are heat-loving plants with foliage that does not melt down during hot, sticky weather so they're perfect for your growing region. You should expect some transplant shock when you first plant your yarrow but once the roots become established the plant will perk up. Daily watering is excessive. Water deeply only once every 4-5 days. If the soil doesn't dry out between waterings the roots can suffocate (soggy soils drive out oxygen). So, give your yarrow a chance to establish. When it does you can cut away any damaged leaves and flowers. Good luck with your plant.|
