It is difficult to diagnose a plant problem without seeing the plant and knowing a little about its history - where it's planted, the exposure to sun or shade, the frequency and amount of watering and the fertilizer you've applied. However, if the lower fronds are dying and you do not see new growth, it's likely that root rot is taking its toll on your Lady Palm. The most common problem with these palms is overwatering/poor drainage which actually suffocates the roots. I don't know if your palm can be saved, especially if the disease is creeping up from the base of the plant. Wish I had something more encouraging to share.
