|It usually takes a year for citrus trees to become established and then they really grow well. Your trees are acting just the opposite of what I'd expect. You didn't mention whether or not you've fed your trees or how much water you are giving them. Both those things are important to know when trying to diagnose a problem. It might be easier for you to talk to a local Master Gardener or cooperative extension agent directly. This way you can exchange information and they can help you determine just what is wrong with your fruit trees. Contact Sacramento County Cooperative Extension Sacramento County 4145 Branch Center Road, Sacramento, CA 95827-3898, Phone: (916) 875-6913.
