I am concerned that my Sago Palms which recently produce new branches are yellowing badly on the bottom layers. I have tried more watering, fertilizer and iron to no avail. Is it the drought?

Iron is usually the answer to yellowing fronds on sago palms. It can take a few weeks to show results, though, so you may need to be a little more patient. Be sure to water your sagos deeply once or twice a week. If the fronds develop brown patches it's probably sunscald. Hope this answers all your questions!
