Hydrangeas are fairly easy to grow. Most flower best when they receive morning sun but shade from hot afternoon sunshine. They need to be watered regularly (once or twice a week) and they will need to be pruned back each spring just as new growth begins. Hydrangeas flower on new growth so cutting them back every spring will encourage lots of new and flowering branches. Feed your hydrangea each spring with a 10-10-10 fertilizer. Aside from the above, they don't require much care at all. Enjoy your beautiful new plant!
