We have planed alot of different lillys and they have alll done well. Once the flower has is gone, what should be done? Should they be cut down or left alone till fall? Also can bu;bs be planed anytime? |
Just leave your lilies alone until frost kills back the tops. At that time you can cut everything down to soil level. While there are green leaves and stems on your lilies, they are manufacturing and storing energy so they'll have a reserve for next spring's growth. You can plant lilies in the fall for flowring the following spring. Enjoy your garden! |
