What grass will grow in deep shade we have tried almost everything

I'm afraid no grass variety will grow in deep shade. Fescues are the most shade tolerant but even these will need to be reseeded every 2 years. A better solution is to plant a shade loving groundcover rather than turfgrass. A groundcover such as pachysandra or vinca are good plants for shady areas.
