I have a mature palm tree in the middle of my front yard. For the last 2 years the lower fronds have turned over. I have this spring given the tree palm tree fertilizer with Magnesium, etc. Some one thought it might be infected, but do not know what to spray it with--but have tried various things. Do I need to wait or is there something else I need to try?

I don't really know what might cause the fronds to react that way. It could be damage in the crown of the palm where the fronds develop, it could be disease or insect damage, as well. Feeding with palm food is a good first step. If the palm is valuable to you, it might be worth the money to have an arborist or palm expert come out and inspect your palm. They will have the tools and knowledge to determine just what might be wrong with your palm. Wish I could be of more help.
