in various gardens in my yard I have impatiens flowering now that appear to be from last years batch. This leads me to believe that this annula can be propogated. What do you think?

Impatiens plants will develop and drop seeds in the garden. You can dig up the little plants and move them to other garden areas so they will self-sow in those garden beds. It's really difficult to harvest, save and then sow impatiens seeds - they are tiny, tiny. I'd vote for moving the little plants every spring if you want them in other garden areas, or just allowing them to grow in the bed they're popping up in. Either way, enjoy!
