Just wondering if the seed pods on different varieties of hostas look the same? and do you have any pictures of hosta seed pods?

I can't supply photos of hosta seed pods, but they essentially all look the same. Most gardeners cut off the flowering stems just as they begin to emerge, thinking that stopping the flowering and seed production will redirect the plant's energy into making more foliage. It's up to you, though. If you'd like to try growing hostas from seed, allow the pods to ripen. When they turn a tannish brown you can harvest the seeds and plant them. Enjoy your hostas!
