My pepper plant's leaves are turning yellow with brown spots. Then the leaves fall off. What might be the problem?

Yellowing leaves can indicate over watering or lack of nutrients or can be the first symptom of a fungal or bacterial disease. I can't really diagnose the problem without seeing the leaves so I can only offer general advice. Pull or pinch off the affected leaves, try to keep water off the tops of the plants; if you haven't fed recently, try a water soluable plant food such as Miracle Gro; water deeply but allow the top of the soil to dry out between waterings. Hope this information is helpful!
