I have a Chinese hibicus on a partial shade location. It gets water every other day and fertilizer twice a month. It looks healthy and produces plenty of buds. However, half of the buds fall off before opening. What should I do?

Hibiscus traditionally produce more flower buds than they can develop. They're kind of over-achievers, but they just don't have the resources to support all of the flowers, so they drop some of the buds. Your plant seems to be getting all of the attention it needs, other than early morning misting or sprinkling to help keep the humidity high around the plant. I'd enjoy the blossoms your plant provides and not be too concerned about the buds it drops.
