You'll want to plant Meyer lemon and Kaffir lime trees - they're the dwarf varieties and will grow best in containers. Use regular potting soil rather than garden soil to fill your containers. Citrus trees need lots of sunshine, ample water and feeding every 4 weeks during the growing season. Use a water soluable fertilizer such as Miracle Gro and dilute it to half strength so you won't accidentally burn the roots of your new trees. Best wishes with your citrus trees!
