I want a flowering vine to grow up trellis - sweet smelling.. lots of sun.. can you tell me what kinds?

There are a few annuals that are fast-growing; try Sweet Peas, Cardinal Climber, or Morning Glory. If you'd rather have a permanent plant, the naturals for the situation you describe are Honeysuckle, Wisteria, Passion Flower and Clematis. Each of these plants bloom profusely, some with more fragrance than others, but all sweet smelling.
