|I've heard that a mixture of milk and sugar injected into a pumpkin plants vines will help the pumkins grow, but I don't know if that is true or what the best mixture is. What would be the best mixture to inject into the pumpkin plant's vines?|
|According to the experts in the giant pumpkin field (no pun intended), the best way to "feed" pumpkins is with rich, deep, organic soil, plenty of water, and regular feedings with water soluble or organic fertilizers. This feeds the whole plant, which is what makes the fruit healthy and large. In fact, cutting a vine and trying to feed it "people food" is not only not worth the trouble, it's potentially harmful to the plant.
