Thank you for your feedback on the yucca plant. I have a yellow bayberry shrub that [this year]has a cedar tree limb hanging above it and the limb is dropping sap or something and is causing the tips to turn brown.Could this browning be caused from the cedar tree? Thank You.Shirley

If a substance is coming from the cedar limb it may very well affect your bayberry. I'd consider shortening the limb or removing it. You can cut a cedar limb back and it will develop more leaves and a new stem or two, which will take a year or two to regrow. During that time your bayberry won't be bombarded with sap or debris. It's worth a thought, anyway.
