|The wilting can be caused by a number of things: too much sunshine, water stress (too much or too little) or transplant shock. Newly planted rhodies need several weeks to adjust to their surroundings. The need to be watered deeply once or twice a week to encourage healthy root growth. Make sure your new plant is getting the shade and water it requires and it should perk up within a few weeks.
