Boca Raton, Fl

Please advise:
We reside in Boca Raton, Florida, and we always purchase our vegetable, spice and herb plants from your store on Linton in Delray Beach.

1. We have lost all of our plants to our treacherous summer heat, but we plan on re-purchasing again when it is best time and climate for plantings, such as tomatoes, lettuces, oregano, basil, etc, etc.

As you've discovered, not many veggies will grow successfully in the summer months. You have two opportunities to plant in Florida: February or October. I'd plant everything but tomatoes in October and then plant the tomatoes in February so they will have an opportunity to grow and develop fruit before the hottest summer weather arrives. Hope you have a great harvest!
