Should you bag the grass when you cut the lawn?

If you mow regularly and the clippings are less than an inch long you can leave them on the lawn. They will decompose rapidly and will provide some nitrogen to the lawn. If the clippings are long, bag them and then compost them or lay them out to dry and then use the dried clippings as organic mulch around your shrubs. Great way to recycle!
