|I have previously asked what fruit trees grow best in the south western part of wyoming. What I forgot to ask is when is the best time to plant them to get the best results. I would hate to plant at the wrong time and have them die. Thank you so much!
|Fruit trees are typically planted in late winter/early spring so they have time to settle in before flowering and leafing out. The roots can take 4-6 weeks to establish after planting. If you have that much time before your first snowstorm you can plant them now. If not, I'd wait until they are available in the garden centers next spring. Best wishes with your new fruit trees.|
