Lots of different kinds of beetles attack lots of different evergreen trees but the control really depends upon the beetles - and the types of evergreens - and whether or not they are considered destructive or simply a nuisance. I can't really suggest a control measure without knowing what the beetles are, and what kinds of trees you are growing. How about collecting a few insects, or cutting off an infested branch and taking it to your local cooperative extension office for positive identification? Helpful folks there can offer control strategies. Contact: WSU Adams County Cooperative Extension, 210 W Broadway Ave # 104, Ritzville - (509) 659-3209
