My spirea little princess doesn't look so healthy on my East side. Color is pale and leaves are thin and a little rusty or dry looking. My ones on the west side look full and green. What's going on???

Lack of sunshine can cause the symptoms you describe, lack of water can also cause the symptoms. But, spidermite feeding might make the leaves look pale and thin. Look for tiny spidermites on the undersides of the leaves and webbing between the leaf stem and branch. If you find mites you can either prune away the damaged plant parts or you can apply a miticide to control the pests. If there are no mites you may want to dig your little princess next spring, amend the planting bed with compost and then replant. Organic soil amendments can enrich the soil, allow it do drain well yet hold just the right amount of moisture. Good luck with your spirea.
